i hope i do well for ib, because this time is really the hardest i think i've studied in my life. just been studying like crazy since before prelims.

whenever we believe something, we tend to accept whatever supports our beliefs, and reject whatever doesn't. we become enclosed in this shell, thinking we are protected by logic and hard evidence, and yet, it's possible that we're just living a lie.

i find that it's quite fun to make up words using chinese sounds. you know how madconalds in chinese is mai dang lao right? yeah using chinese sounds to approximate the sounds of english words:

papaya: ba(1) ba(1) ya(1)
chicken: qu(3) gen(1)
kiwi: kee(3) wee(4)

oh crap just realised that kee and wee aren't chinese sounds. oh well

sian just realised that i might have i screwed up econs. hope that drq will be better, i need to get a 7 coz math was absolute shit.
